If I have learnt anything through my career, it’s that project management is all about navigating complexity and driving results efficiently. While each sector has its characteristics, the core skills that drive projects forward remain the same:
- Planning and Organization: Whether I am managing a digital campaign or a large-scale sustainability project, clear objectives and detailed planning have always been the foundation of success.
- Communication: I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep everyone on the same page. Clear, consistent updates have helped me avoid misunderstandings and ensure the entire team is aligned with the project goals. It is crucial to keep a good balance between communicating enough and over communicating.
- Risk Management: There is always that moment when you think, “What could go wrong here?” I try to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Process Optimization: I love finding ways to streamline processes. Automating tasks, refining workflows, and incorporating best practices have been key to enhancing productivity in all my projects.

- Digital Marketing: During my career, I managed various digital projects. I coordinated between different teams and optimised workflows to improve effectiveness and help the collaborative approach. One project involved integrating a new CRM system—something that requires not only strong organisational skills, but also the ability to keep a clear line of communication between teams.
- Sustainability Projects: Working with EIT Urban Mobility and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, I focused on integrating sustainability into project management. Whether it was tracking urban mobility solutions or optimising resource use, the process setup played a key role in advancing environmental goals.
- Innovation and Technology: At Scytl, I led innovation projects funded by the European Union, where meeting strict security and technical requirements was essential. The satisfaction of streamlining processes and delivering on time—while navigating complex regulations—was one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.
Case Study: A Lesson in Process Optimization
One of my most memorable projects involved a high-profile client in the logistics sector. It is a sector with significant opportunities for digitalization, as many processes are still carried out manually. They needed to integrate new software tools to enhance route optimization and supply chain analytics.
We faced a lot of challenges, but I carefully mapped out the existing processes, identified inefficiencies, and facilitated the implementation of automation tools together with the technical team to ease the workload.
